On April 28, 2026, Anamarija and Irena held an engaging workshop for students of class 8.a at Primary School Jelkovec. The workshop introduced pupils to the exciting world of organic chemistry through a combination of interactive explanations and simple demonstrations. During the session, students learned about everyday chemical compounds such as alcohols, carboxylic acids, and esters, and explored how chemistry is connected to familiar materials like food, fragrances, and household products. The workshop aimed to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and show that chemistry can be both fun and relevant to everyday life. We would like to thank the students and teachers of Primary School Jelkovec for their warm welcome and enthusiastic participation. We hope that this experience inspired some of the pupils to further explore science and consider future studies in chemistry.
